State Emergency Service of Ukraine
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) is the central executive body responsible for civil protection, rescue operations, firefighting, and emergency response in Ukraine. It operates under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, the DSNS has been a primary responder to missile and bomb attacks, conducting rescue operations, demining territories, and providing assistance to civilians in war-affected regions.
