The head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, announced on 22 October that the mandatory evacuation zone for families with children has been expanded to cover all populated areas of the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk hromadas in Kramatorsk district, citing daily Russian strikes on residential neighborhoods, civilian transport and gathering places. Specialized units of the National Police and the State Emergency Service (DSNS) are conducting the evacuation; families arriving at transit points are being helped to relocate to safer regions of Ukraine.
