State Tax Service
The State Tax Service of Ukraine (STS) is the central executive body responsible for administering taxes and fees and ensuring their collection to the state budget. It operates under the Ministry of Finance and assumed the functions of the former State Tax Administration, which was reorganized in 2019. The service maintains the registry of taxpayers, conducts tax audits, enforces tax legislation and collects tax payments. Its head is appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance.
