State Duma of Russia
The State Duma of Russia is the lower house of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, its primary legislative chamber. It is composed of 450 deputies elected for five-year terms under a mixed electoral system. The Duma considers and adopts federal laws, which are then reviewed by the Federation Council. It sits in Moscow on Okhotny Ryad, adjacent to the Kremlin walls.
