Denmark's Export and Investment Fund (EIFO)
The Denmark Export and Investment Fund (EIFO) is Denmark's state financial institution, established in 2022 through the merger of several predecessor bodies, including the Industrial Development Fund and the Growth Fund. It is owned by the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs and functions as the country's single state development bank. EIFO provides financing and insurance to Danish companies operating internationally, and supports investments in the green transition and innovation. Against the backdrop of heightened European security concerns, EIFO has increasingly financed defence and defence-industrial projects.

Denmark to guarantee $112.6 million loan for Ukrainian Fire Point rocket-fuel plant
Denmark's government announced on 21 October that it will back a roughly 750-million-kroner (about $112.6 million) loan from the Danish Export and Investment Fund (EIFO) to a Danish subsidiary of Ukrainian missile-fuel manufacturer Fire Point. The loan will finance a solid rocket-fuel plant under construction in Southern Jutland that is scheduled to open by the end of 2027, and will supply fuel for long-range missiles as well as components for the Freyja air-defence project, which is intended to offer Ukraine a homegrown alternative to the US Patriot system. Danish Defence Minister Jeppe Bruus said locating production abroad helps protect critical supply chains from Russian attacks.
