Connecting Europe Facility
The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is an EU funding instrument established in 2014 to finance infrastructure projects in transport, energy and telecommunications. It prioritises cross-border projects that complete the trans-European networks (TEN-T) and integrate the infrastructure of member states and candidate countries. The facility also channels support to Ukraine, including rail infrastructure modernisation.
