Bipartisan U.S. congressional letter urges Trump and Musk to let Ukraine use Starlink to strike Russian launch sites
Around twenty U.S. House members, led by Republican Joe Wilson, sent a group letter to President Donald Trump and Elon Musk calling on them to allow Ukraine to use Starlink to locate and strike missile launch sites in Russia. The appeal comes in the context of an October 14 speed restriction on the Starshield military package that Ukrainian officials say has disrupted drone operations and frontline logistics. The letter argues that if Ukraine cannot reliably intercept Russian strikes, it must be able to hit the launchers themselves.
