Communications and Cyber Security Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Communications and Cyber Security Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are a separate branch of the Ukrainian military, established to consolidate and develop the country's capabilities in military communications, information technology and cyber defence. The branch was formally created in 2024 by presidential decree. It brought together communications and information units that had previously been dispersed across other structures of the Armed Forces, alongside newly formed cyber units, and is headed by a dedicated commander.
