Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe is the Council of Europe's decision-making body, made up of the foreign ministers of all 46 member states or their permanent representatives. It adopts the organisation's political decisions, approves its budget and programmes of activity, and supervises the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. The Committee also monitors member states' compliance with Council of Europe conventions.

Netherlands ratifies Council of Europe Convention establishing International Compensation Commission for Ukraine
The Netherlands has ratified the Council of Europe Convention that creates the International Compensation Commission for Ukraine, submitting its ratification instrument at the Council of Europe headquarters in Strasbourg on 15 September. The Netherlands, which led negotiations on the Convention and currently heads the preparatory committee, becomes part of a group of nine countries plus the EU that have completed ratification. Twenty-five ratifications are required for the Convention to enter into force.
