Norway joins hockey boycott of Russia after CAS lifts ban
Norway's ice hockey federation has refused to face Russia at the 2027 men's World Championship in Germany following the Court of Arbitration for Sport's decision to allow Russian teams back into IIHF competitions. Other national federations and commercial partners have announced similar boycotts or withdrawn support, raising concerns for Ukraine's newly secured place in the elite division.
