Donetsk Oblast to impose 19-hour nightly curfew from 1 November
The Donetsk Oblast Defense Council has approved an extended curfew across almost all Ukrainian-controlled territory of the region from 1 November 2026. The 19-hour restriction, running from 16:00 to 11:00, will also apply to the major cities of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, but not to the Oleksandrivska and Cherkaska communities. The decision comes amid a sharp escalation in Russian strikes on civilian targets, including the 8 October bus attack in Kramatorsk.
