In a CBS News interview, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine is ready for an energy ceasefire with Russia, but pushed back on Donald Trump's earlier assertion that such an agreement had already been reached. Zelenskyy framed the issue as fundamentally different for the two sides — Russian export revenues versus Ukrainian household electricity — and said Ukrainian restraint is conditional on guarantees that Russia will stop striking Ukrainian energy facilities. The Financial Times reported that Trump had rushed his statement and that no final deal is in place.
