BUILD Act
The BUILD Act (Better Utilization of Investments Leading to Development Act of 2018) is a United States law enacted in October 2018 that reorganized and expanded the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) by creating the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). It gave the DFC broader authority to provide financing for development projects abroad, including loans, guarantees, and equity investments in infrastructure and energy.
