British intelligence
British intelligence generally refers to the United Kingdom's intelligence and security agencies, in particular the Defence Intelligence arm of the Ministry of Defence. Its military analysts produce daily and weekly assessments of the conflict in Ukraine, drawing on open-source and classified reporting, which are widely cited by international media.

Ukraine's General Staff said on 12 September 2026 that Ukrainian Defence Forces killed or wounded about 1,500 Russian servicemen in the past day, bringing estimated cumulative Russian personnel losses since 24 February 2022 to roughly 1,505,380. The daily update also tallied losses of Russian tanks, armoured vehicles, artillery systems, drones and other equipment, with all figures described as preliminary and subject to refinement.
