Azovstal
Azovstal is a major steelworks in Mariupol, Ukraine, founded in the early 1930s and long part of the Metinvest group. It was one of the largest integrated metallurgical plants in Ukraine, producing pig iron, steel and rolled products through its coke, blast furnace and rolling facilities. The plant suffered extensive damage during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and became a focal point of fighting around Mariupol.
