Gamzat Tsadasa Avar Musical and Drama Theatre
The Avar Musical-Drama Theatre named after Gamzat Tsadasa is a state theatre in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, founded in 1935 as the national theatre of the Avar people. It is named after Gamzat Tsadasa, a prominent Avar poet. The company performs in the Avar language and is one of the leading theatrical institutions of the North Caucasus.
