ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is a Ukrainian steelworks located in the city of Kryvyi Rih, one of the largest producers of steel and rolled products in Ukraine. The plant is part of the international steel group ArcelorMittal and is the successor to the former Kryvorizhstal metallurgical combine, which was privatized in the early 2000s. Its integrated facility includes blast furnace, steelmaking and rolling operations, covering the full production cycle from pig iron to finished steel. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, the enterprise has suffered significant damage to its infrastructure but has resumed operations on a portion of its capacity.

Russian strikes idle three plants that produced 90% of Ukraine's steel
Russian ballistic missile strikes in early September knocked out three major Ukrainian metallurgical plants — Zaporizhstal, Kametstal and ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih — which together had accounted for about 90% of Ukraine's steel output. The attacks killed 17 workers and halted production at facilities employing more than 15,000 people. Metinvest's Oleksandr Vodoviz said Ukraine "effectively no longer has a steel industry."
