Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See
The Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See is the Holy See's permanent diplomatic mission to a state, headed by an apostolic nuncio who typically serves as dean of the diplomatic corps. The nunciature in Kyiv represents the Vatican in Ukraine, handling relations between the Holy See and the Ukrainian state as well as with the local Catholic Church. Its position as the papal representation is defined by the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
