An-124 Ruslan
The An-124 Ruslan is a Soviet-designed strategic airlifter developed in the 1980s by the Antonov Design Bureau, then based in Kyiv. It was produced at the Aviastar plant in Ulyanovsk, Russia. Intended for intercontinental transport of oversize and heavy cargo, it remains one of the largest serial transport aircraft in the world and continues to operate in civilian cargo service with several companies.
