Alpha Jet
The Alpha Jet is a light jet trainer and ground-attack aircraft developed in the late 1970s by French company Dassault-Breguet (now Dassault Aviation) in cooperation with the German manufacturer Dornier. It was designed primarily to train pilots for frontline fighter aircraft, while also being capable of light combat, reconnaissance and close air support missions. The type has served with the air forces of several countries, notably France and Germany, and is operated by private contractors providing jet training services to military pilots worldwide.
