Transneft is a Russian state-owned oil pipeline company and the operator of the country's main crude oil trunk pipeline system. Founded in 1993, it is headquartered in Moscow and is the world's largest oil pipeline company by volume of transported crude. The Russian state, through the Federal Agency for State Property Management, holds a controlling stake.
