Ukraine to purchase weapons through NATO procurement agency as US ties strain
Ukraine will be permitted to buy weapons, ammunition and military equipment through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), gaining access to a structured mechanism expected to speed up deliveries and cut costs. The partnership was announced as Ukraine's relations with the United States have reached their lowest point since the February 2025 Oval Office clash between Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky.
