NATO to let Ukraine buy weapons and equipment through NATO procurement agency
NATO will allow Ukraine to purchase weapons, ammunition, military equipment and vehicles through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), according to reporting by the Financial Times. The arrangement gives Ukraine access to a structured procurement channel that includes NSPA's expertise, support services and established industrial base, and is expected to produce economies of scale. It comes as Ukraine–US relations are at their lowest point since the February 2025 Oval Office dispute between Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky.
