Accounting Chamber
The Accounting Chamber of Ukraine is a permanent oversight body responsible for external state financial audit and monitoring of the use of state budget funds, sub-national budgets, and state property. Its powers are established by the Constitution and the Law on the Accounting Chamber. The body examines budget execution, evaluates the efficiency of state programmes, and oversees the targeted use of public funds, including international financial assistance. Its Chair is appointed by the Verkhovna Rada on the nomination of the President.
