2nd NGU Corps "Khartiia"
The 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Khartiia" (Charter) is a tactical formation of the National Guard of Ukraine established in 2022 at the outset of the full-scale Russian invasion. It is recruited largely from volunteers and operates under the Main Directorate of the National Guard. The corps's brigades have been engaged in combat in eastern Ukraine, including around Kupiansk and in Kharkiv Oblast. Its commander is Colonel Ihor Ovcharuk.
