1st Tank Army
The 1st Tank Army is an operational formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. It was established in 2023, drawing on tank and mechanised units that fought in the defence of Kyiv Oblast during the early phase of Russia's full-scale invasion. The army forms part of the Operational Command North and has been engaged in combat operations mainly in eastern Ukraine.
